The Deep, Dark Down Has a Publisher

I absolutely did not bury the lede, folks.

My next novel is called THE DEEP, DARK DOWN, it’s coming out in 2027, and another major achievement unlocked:

We have a publisher.

So happy to announce that PINK BEAM PRESS, an imprint dedicated to Dickian science-fiction (AKA, the kinds of thoughtful, twisted, paranoid, schizophrenic sci-fi that Philip K. Dick might thumbs-up), has signed my next novel.

Pink Beam Press is on a roll, signing some pretty big talent in the sci-fi/horror realms, including Sarah Langan, Brian Evenson, Cody Goodfellow, Garrett Cook, and Keith Giles, among a whole lineup of other incredible writers. I’m just tickled pink—ugh, sorry—to be joining the roster.

(Placeholder art. Stock assets + Pixelmator Pro. Made by my human hands. Don’t come at me with AI slop accusations, people. I’m with you. I just need something visual to rep the book before the finished cover.)

So what the hell is THE DEEP, DARK DOWN, anyway? Little too early to go into a lot of detail, but it exists in the sci-fi and horror genres, and it’s tracking to be my most fucked-up novel yet. Although it’s early-ish days, I’m cooking. I read a scene for my wife last night and she looked like I unleashed a skunk in our living room. This is the desired result.

Much more to come.
